On the southern platform of "Mbadala Arena" in the city of Zayed-Shaikhri in Abu Dhabi, the competitions of the first day of the third stage of the Khalifa bin Mohammed bin Zayed Championship in jiu-jitsu in the "kiddos" category started yesterday, with broad participation from representatives of all age groups. Today, competitions continue among teenagers aged 14 to 16 years. The third stage will conclude tomorrow with fights among children aged up to 12 years.

The format of the masters' category is distinguished by uniformity among the amateurs, experience, and discipline, making the competitions more relevant by current standards. Ben Yas Club took first place, the second place went to the M.O.D Academy, and the Al Jazira club ended up in third place.

Representatives of various age categories competed, observing the fights among juniors, adults, and masters. High-ranking representatives from unions of the UAE and Asia, the director of the Abu Dhabi public health center, as well as members of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council were present.

Member of the board of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Yusuf al-Batran emphasized that the championship continues to develop with each new tournament, both in terms of technical performance and the level of participation and involvement of the audience. He noted that such successes reflect the immense support provided to this type of sport in the country, and the federation's goal is to spread sports and human values in society.

A participant in the matches, who won a gold medal in the masters category (purple belt) in the weight category up to 85 kg, from the M.O.D Academy, Abdullakh al-Balushi, expressed his joy at the victory, noting: "Winning a gold medal at this important stage is a result of constant training."
